Winter Wonderland: Our Visit to Northstar Resor

Hello, everyone! ❄️✨ In February 2024, we took a family trip to the stunning Northstar Resort in Lake Tahoe, California. With our little one just three months old, our experience was a blend of cozy indoor activities and delightful local exploration. Let me share the highlights of our trip!

A Cozy Retreat

Staying in a beautiful ski-in, ski-out house we reserved through Wander made our experience even more special. The convenience of stepping right out onto the slopes was incredible! While my husband hit the slopes, I enjoyed the cozy comforts of our rental. I spent my days snuggling with our baby, tackling a fun puzzle, and enjoying some quality game time. It was a peaceful way to soak in the beauty of the winter landscape.

Exploring Truckee

One of the highlights of our trip was driving into nearby Truckee. This charming town is filled with local shops and boutiques that showcase the area’s unique character. We had a wonderful time browsing through the shops, picking up some local goodies, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. It was a nice break to get out and explore, even with a little one in tow!

Four Seasons Fun

While we were at Northstar, we were fortunate to stay close to the Four Seasons Resort, where we purchased our ski tickets. The resort exuded luxury, and it was a perfect spot for those who wanted a little pampering after a day on the slopes. Although I didn’t get to ski this time, it was great to be so close to such a fantastic facility.

A Memorable Family Experience

This trip was all about balance—enjoying the beautiful winter scenery while also cherishing those quiet moments with our baby. Whether we were relaxing indoors or exploring the local area, we created wonderful memories as a family.

Thank you for joining me on our journey to Northstar Resort! I hope this inspires you to plan your own family getaway to Lake Tahoe, no matter the season. Until next time!
