DIY Tea Party Gift Set for Your Favorite Little Girls

There’s just something magical about little girls having a tea party. Whether it’s with stuffed animals, baby dolls, or each other, it’s the kind of imaginative play that sticks in your heart forever. I recently put together the sweetest little tea party set for my nieces, and it turned out to be such a fun and thoughtful gift—I knew I had to share it with you here.

What’s Inside the Tea Set

I found the most adorable little tea cup sets at HomeGoods— It came with a flower cup and saucer, and a spoon. I also picked up a matching teapot and sugar container to complete the tea party set. I found the perfect metal tin to store the tea set and creating the perfect gifting vessel.

I lined the inside of the tin with some soft tissue paper and arranged everything carefully so it felt like opening a treasure box. I made cute name cards for the cups and of course a note to the girls, finishing everything with a little glitter. ✨ The whole thing came together as this charming little moment—perfect for gifting, playing, and making memories.

💌 Add a Brave Little Note

Depending on how old the girls are and your relationship with them, I thought it would be special to include a little note or quote inside the tin. I used a print that says:

“Brave Girl.”

You could tuck it in on top like a secret message, frame it separately, or even make your own tag. It’s a small but powerful way to remind them that tea parties are fun, but so is growing up strong, sweet, and brave.

This project falls into that category of simple but meaningful. It’s a great birthday gift, cousin sleepover surprise, or just-because treat. You can customize it with different teas, themes, or colors depending on the child—and it works well for a group gift if you have more than one little guest of honor.
