DIY Watermelon Floral Arrangement 🍉🌸 - Perfect for Summer!

ree

I love a good seasonal DIY, especially when it’s quick, easy, and turns out absolutely adorable. This one is perfect for the 4th of July, a summer party centerpiece, or just to add a fun pop of color to your front porch or kitchen counter.

I found these metal watermelon containers—in two different sizes—and immediately knew I wanted to turn them into a bright floral arrangement. Since they’re metal, they’re perfect for indoor or outdoor use, and honestly, they were cute enough on their own… but I couldn’t help myself!

Here’s what I used:

    •    2 metal watermelon bowls (you could also use one large one!)

    •    A block of floral foam

    •    An assortment of faux flowers in soft pinks and whites

    •    I picked up a mix of sizes and textures to give it a natural, full look

How I made it:

    1.    I started by placing a block of floral foam inside each watermelon bowl.

    2.    Then, I simply began arranging the florals, starting with the largest blooms and filling in with smaller flowers and greenery.

    3.    I played around with the placement until it felt full and balanced, and that was it!

This DIY is seriously so easy—no hot glue or wire needed, and it only took about 10–15 minutes per arrangement. The result? A fun, summery centerpiece that makes a big impact with minimal effort.

It’s festive enough for the 4th of July, but cute enough to leave out all summer long. Whether you’re hosting a backyard BBQ or just love seasonal touches around the house, this is one DIY worth trying!

Let me know if you give it a go!
