A Simple & Spooky Front Porch - Halloween 2023

This year’s Halloween front porch was simple, a little spooky, and just the right amount of festive—especially considering I was eight months pregnant at the time!
I used a soft black cheesecloth-style web across the front of the porch to give it that eerie, draped effect without going over the top. It added just enough texture and drama while still feeling clean and easy to pull together.
In our front porch planters, I placed a mix of pumpkins I found at HomeGoods and At Home, keeping it low-effort but still fun and seasonal. The natural shapes and neutral tones worked perfectly with the soft black accents.
It definitely wasn’t the most elaborate Halloween setup I’ve ever done—but honestly, it turned out to be one of my favorites. It was proof that sometimes less really is more… especially when you’re decorating with a baby bump!
Looking forward to many more holidays with a little one in tow, but for now, I’m soaking in the magic of these sweet, simple seasons.
